Did any laws or commandments predate the Sinai Covenant? If so, were they rescinded by that Covenant? Where?

Yes,in fact the Law and the Prophets were built on it. It is 1) Love God and 2) Love your neighbor as yourself. The Laws and commandments of the Old Testament, were of course, nullified on the cross, leaving the original precepts as the Law of Christ. Thanks for asking.
