Did I have a panic attack?

I was in the shower and I accidentally cut my fingernail with my razor. It hurt pretty bad and I started getting "sunspots" in my eyes. Soon after, almost all of my vision went black and my hearing was fading. I couldn't breathe, I was shaking, and I felt like I was gonna throw up. My friend who luckily was by the door helped me out of the shower, I sat down with my eyes closed and my head between my legs and I eventually felt better. Can anyone explain what I experienced?
