Need help with programming languages ASAP Please!?

ok so i wanted to get into programming specifically for the iphone with the sdk. The thing is that it requires that i know object oriented programming, specifically objective c. Next year in school I'm taking AP Computer Science in which we learn JAVA. The question is if i learn objective c now and then have to learn java next year in school, will i confuse myself?
