Halo hopper question for paintball marker?

I have a Spyder aggressor semi-auto non electric paintball marker. Its cheap but can get the job done. I may buy a halo electric hopper for my gun. Will this help the performance of the gun and make the feeding of ammo more reliable? If so is this a good purchase?
