I accidentally cut myself and I can see my bone. What should I be doing?

I was cutting an apple with my switchblade and is I was closing it, it sprung into my thumb and cut it straight to the bone. I can see the bone and its really white. Should I go to the hospital or just stitch it myself. It doesn't hurt too much but it's really gross.
